Eton Bridge Partners is working in partnership with a fast growing, global transport & logistics, company in their search for a Group FP&A Director. The business are widely known for their innovative approach and commitment to sustainability.


Reporting to the CFO, this is a newly created opportunity for an experienced Head of FP&A to lead the financial planning and analysis function. This role will focus on transforming the FP&A team into a proactive business partner, enhancing financial strategy and reporting capabilities.


Please note that this opportunity will require you to be in their Central London office 5 days/week with periodic travel to international sites.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Oversee the FP&A function, including team re organisation and restructuring for improved business partnering and value addition.
  • Forecasting: Manage the cash flow forecasting process, adapting it to the needs of a growing business by setting risk parameters and conducting scenario planning.
  • Budgeting: Develop and lead a comprehensive group-wide budgeting framework, ensuring effective quarterly monitoring and reporting.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of financial performance, trends, and variances, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Reporting: Deliver monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external stakeholders, enhancing the quality of analysis provided.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate across departments to offer financial guidance, supporting cost optimisation and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Policies: Establish and enforce financial policies and processes, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Investor Relations: Maintain strong relationships with business partners and effectively communicate financial performance and strategy to key stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACMA, or ACCA.
  • Substantial finance leadership experience to drive the finance function to high-class performance.
  • Deep experience with FP&A technical systems and software.
  • Ability to manage a large and variable workload under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Experience in managing transformation and change.
  • Extensive experience leading large and diverse finance teams.
  • Ability to work independently to set and achieve detailed and ambitious KPIs/targets.
  • A dynamic, energetic, and robust approach, with the capacity to grow with an ambitious business.
