Director of Finance

Ignata Finance have been retained by a family-owned consumer goods business based in West London. The culture of this business is incredible with long-tenure running throughout the company. Much of this is down to how the board run the company, coupled with a wonderful work/life balance.
This is a rare opportunity, as it provides you with the opportunity to join as Director of Finance, with a clear path and plan to succeed the COO.
The business is highly profitable, growing sustainably year on year, with revenues in 2024 expected to reach £60m. It's an international company with plenty of complexities to sink your teeth into, plus a clear desire to upgrade the financial processes and implement a new accounting system.
The role is largely focused on financial accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, cash with other FP&A, commercial finance responsibilities (80% weighted towards financial control and accounting/reporting vs commercial).
There is a very established and high-quality finance team that you will be inheriting, however, we are looking for someone with a hands on mentality who is keen to coach & develop these people to new heights.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant
- More weighting/bias towards Financial Control, Accounting, Reporting vs Commercial
- Longevity in your track record and length of tenure in recent roles
- SME company background (min £30m - to a max of £150m)
- Consumer sector experience (understanding of stock, warehousing)
- International company experience ideally (appreciating multi-currency complexities)
Working Pattern:
- 4 days in the office, 1 from home
- Plenty of parking available in the office (near to Fulham)
- Flexible working hours with start times (8-10am) and finish times (4-6pm)
Compensation:
- Salary ranges upto £130,000 + car allowance + bonus + pension + medical
