Were seeking a Senior Travel Underwriter to join our growing team and help manage one of the UKs largest travel insurance portfolios while expanding our global footprint.In this senior role youll take ownership of underwriting performance develop market-leading products and collaborate across the business to drive profitable growth.What youll do Manage the underwriting performance of Collinsons travel insurance portfolio. Work with Actuarial teams to ensure accurate reserving and IBNR calculations. Collaborate with Pricing Analysts to build and refine pricing models. Support Business Development in designing innovative customer-centric products. Evolve policy wordings to meet both regulatory and customer expectations. Analyse underwriting results sales performance and claims data to propose improvements. Engage with reinsurance partners and distribution channels to support growth. Use insights from claims and assistance data to reduce losses and improve service delivery.What youll bring 5 years of underwriting experience with at least 3 years in travel insurance. Strong understanding of the UK and European travel insurance markets. Proven track record of driving underwriting profitability and portfolio growth. Analytical mindset with excellent Excel and reporting skills. Experience with pricing tools such as Emblem or Alteryx is an advantage. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
