This is a field-based role/ We are advertising this opportunity nationally and welcome applications from candidates in Bristol and the South West due to high volume of work in the area.More About the Role: Carrying out all disciplines of asbestos surveying and inspection, including management, refurbishment and demolition surveys as well as asbestos in the groundAir monitoring and airborne fibre countingInspection of contractors’ remediation work, signing off removal works or rejecting unsatisfactory removals as part of the 4SC processAccurate collection of factual and numerical site data via a phablet device to automatically generate quality reports through our award-winning software, NexGenFamiliarity and compliance with all asbestos relevant legislation and guidance e.g HSE and constructionMaintaining your personal QHSE documentation and adhering to internal assurance processes.Providing a professional and courteous service to clients, answering any queries that they might have, as well as specialist advice and interpretation where necessaryMore About You: BOHS P402, P403 and P404, equivalent RSPH qualifications or Certificate of CompetenceWorking knowledge of both HSG:248 The Analysts’ Guide and HSG:264 The Survey GuideFull UK driving licence (manual)Flexible approach to travelling and out-of-hours workingStrong work ethic, with the ability to work effectively and intuitively alone or as part of a small teamWhat we offer: Paid Overtime -Salary with over time and travel realistically equates to 45.5k per annum.Paid travel contributing to your core 40-hour week, allowing you to achieve the enhanced hourly rate, valued between £3,000 – £4,000 on average25 Days Annual Leave including 3 days Christmas shutdown plus bank holidaysCompany Van - with all your equipment, PPE and company uniform providedWorking away allowances for both short term and long-term working awayLife assuranceReward platform – which includes a wellbeing centre, cycle to work scheme, and discounts/cashback from over 800 retailers.Employee Assistance ProgrammeUp to £2,000 referral bonus*Healthcare cashback schemeSupportive family policies – including enhanced parental leave.More About Us: Lucion is a purpose-driven, beyond net-zero company, dedicated to protecting people from hazardous environments and protecting the environment from the impacts of people.Lucion has 6 business units operating within the group, this role sits within the Lucion Services business unit.
