Estimating Assistant

Estimating Assistant Vickerstock are recruiting for an Estimating Assistant for a leading client based in Crumlin on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will support the efficient running of the organisation. They will enjoy working in a team to ensure deadlines are met and documentation is accurately completed and filed. Your new role as an Estimating Assistant Working closely with the Estimating and surveying team daily, providing administrative support and liaising with supply chain members. Logging new projects onto the system and downloading and saving tender information into the project file, document, and tender information control during the tender process. Updating Excel spreadsheets Logging the materials and pricing on Excel Collating information and documentation for the Technical Department Gather submittal from subcontractors / vendors and prepare close out documents for each project Assisting with calculation checks and the tender completion process to meet the submission deadline. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation. What you'll need to succeed as an Estimating Assistant Experience in a similar role Proficient in the use of MS Office Applications An advanced level of numeracy skills. Experience of interpreting information of a technical nature Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
