O&M Technician

Responsibilities:Participate in O&M activities for site improvement and LV/HV electrical network maintenance.Manage and assist with all maintenance tasks.Ensure compliance with Electrical Safety Rules (ESRs).Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance.Maintain logs of maintenance activities.Produce RAMS for LV scheduled works.Ensure electrical safety during all LV and electrical works.Develop new maintenance procedures as needed.Identify resources and subcontractors for maintenance tasks.Oversee contractor activities to ensure effective maintenance.Complete paperwork: labor returns, timesheets, expenses, material allocations.Liaise with the Operational management team and site operatives.Perform Electrical Site Technician duties on-site.Work on DC and LV systems, diagnose issues.Submit LV switching schedules per project programs.Promote a positive HS&E culture and suggest improvements.Identify and report on activity improvements and training needs. Requirements;Electrical Engineering backgroundMinimum 3 years of professional experience as field technician for PV Solar/BESS projectsQualified ElectricianProficient in electrical systems design and solar connectionsUp to date industry recognized AP course (HV AP 2/ AP3 Authorization)Test equipment/ able fault finding / VLF testing /IRExperience in renewable energy installations (O&M, Construction, etc)
