The Role:

Our client, an employee-owned architecture practice who are continually committed to responding to the sensitive qualities of every one of their unique and notable projects, is looking for a Senior Architect/Associate to join their successful team.


Working from their fantastic office in the centre of Manchester, you would be working on an incredibly rewarding project within a supportive environment that fosters a spirit of collaboration.


If you are interested in the preservation of architecture, are confident in your ability in managing projects from concept to completion and have a desire to produce work that will stand the test of time, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the internal team and coordinate with external consultants and clients when working on intricacies of delivery on RIBA stages 4 and 5
  • Lead technical and construction packages
  • Liaise with stakeholders, clients and key public officials
  • Collaborate with fellow architects within the company and deliver guidance to your team
  • Confidently work independently as well as manage and delegate work efficiently
  • Display your prior experience in the preservation of listed buildings
  • Show your understanding UK building and planning regulations alongside your prior experience working in the UK


Key Skills:

  • A relevant degree in Architecture is essential along with ARB registration
  • At least 5 years experience post ARB registration
  • Experience in Revit is essential
  • Previous experience taking responsibility on financial success of projects and a good commercial understanding
  • Proven experience working throughout all RIBA stages
  • Excellent technical detailing and understanding
