We are looking for a Senior Procurement Lead to join our team based at our Head Office in Colliers Wood. Salary is negotiable dependent on experience.


As the Senior Procurement Lead you'll be responsible for researching new vendors, tracking deliveries and updating order records (e.g. pricing , stock schedules.). Make cost-effective purchases and ensure we maintain a fully stocked inventory.


Being the Procurement Lead in DaVita UK will be a varied role. You can expect to carry out the following responsibilities but not limited to:


  • Lead a team of 3
  • Raise requisitions and purchase orders on behalf of departments/clinics ensuring that purchasing is carried out in accordance with the purchasing policy and guidelines and EU legislation.
  • Check validity of requests to purchase and resolve or refer non-compliant requests as appropriate. Investigate queries and discrepancies with requisitions, receipts, orders and invoices escalating as required.
  • Check that deliveries have been made, raise GRNs, and process returns to vendors.
  • Ensure that all orders are charged back at correct values and quantities, making any required amendments.
  • Contribute to wider procurement projects in partnership with the Finance Director.
  • Use the ERP, financial management, accounting and issue logging systems for procurement activities as appropriate.
  • Reconciliation of credit card.
  • Accept and create orders to ensure clinics are fully resourced and able to service demand
  • Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
  • Maintain updated records contracts (Conga)
  • Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
  • Liaise with staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition


To be successful in this role, we’re looking for someone with:

  • Work experience within procurement
  • Good understanding of supply chain and procurement procedures
  • Experience of undertaking procurement exercises or tenders for goods and services
  • Hands-on experience with relevant software
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Knowledge of market research
  • Solid organisational skills
  • Strong numeracy skills and commercial awareness
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines & competing workloads
  • Ability to adapt communication style to suit the audience
  • Ability to work within a changing environment
  • Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information with tact and discretion
