An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Rural Surveyor to join the rural department of a leading firm of surveyors and property advisers. Ideally, the candidate will have 2 years of (PQE).
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering expert advice and support to a variety of clients including farmers, landowners, and rural businesses.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing rural professional work, including valuations, sales, and lettings of rural properties.
- Attending client meetings on-site and off-site, providing strategic advice, and preparing necessary documentation.
- Negotiating sales and lettings, preparing heads of terms, and liaising with clients’ professional advisors.
- Contributing to business development activities, including publications and events, as a key member of the rural team.
- Collaborating with colleagues on planning and development advice, as well as rural grants and subsidy schemes.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Rural Surveyor or in a similar role.
- Ideally have 2 years' PQE and CAAV qualification or working towards it.
- Strong knowledge of the local area and rural property market.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Must have a car insured for business use.
