Job Title: Social Worker - Referral and AssessmentLocation: NottinghamPay Rate: 38Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Childrens Social Worker to join its clients Assessment Team based in Nottingham.What will your responsibilities beReceive and screen referrals from professionals families or the public.Conduct initial assessments to determine risk levels and service eligibility.Make decisions on whether cases require further intervention under Section 17 (Child in Need) or Section 47 (Child Protection).Undertake home visits and interviews with children and families.Liaise with police schools health services and other agencies to gather information.Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for further action.Escalate cases to child protection teams when necessary.Maintain accurate records and ensure timely responses to referrals.Qualifications and Experience:To be successful in this role you must have.Social Work England registrationEligible to work in the UKHold a full UK driving licencePost-qualified experienceDegree level or equivalent in Social WorkWhy Liquid Personnel Free DBS and compliance serviceTwice weekly payroll and Faster Pay service getting you paid more quicklyAccess to exclusive roles that arent available from other agenciesFree access to Liquids exclusive social work training and CPD portalYour own dedicated consultant with extensive social work knowledgeAccess to a wide selection of social work positions across the UKRefer a Friend bonus get 500 for each social worker you refer who we successfully place*Find your own job bonus get 250 for bringing your own position to us *Liquid Personnel is an equal opportunities employer.
