OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, demonstrating proficiency with both hand and power tools. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. You will have excellent knowledge of AC/DC systems and a relevant electrical qualification is also required. As you would expect, marine experience is essential but above all we are looking for a meticulous attention to detail, a deep commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively as part of a passionate multi-skilled team. Responsibilities Reading and interpreting electrical drawings. Installing electrical equipment on luxury yachts. Coordinating your workload with other departments, such as engineering and boat building. Carrying out general maintenance on equipment, including PAT testing. The work will be on new build vessels and refit projects in a very well set-out yard. The variety of tasks will keep you interested, and you will be working on some of the most exciting marine projects in the UK.
