Role: Voice Engineer REF (phone number removed)Contract Length: Until end of January 2025Location: KidlingtonIR35: InsidePay Rate to Intermediary: £485.38 per daySpinwell is recruiting for a Voice Engineer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE VOICE ENGINEERIdentify and resolve network or Voice problems following agreed procedures. To use network management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics. Carries out maintenance tasks and agreed network changes supporting project requirements.SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE VOICE ENGINEER * Able to understand how IT and Voice networks impact the Forces' Policing and business objectives and processes. * Able to articulate technical designs and principles to a non-technical audience. * Holds a recognised IT Networking qualification, or equivalent experience in a similar size organisation. * Good understanding of the Forces’ network systems, networking protocols and standards. * Must have capability to travel to different locations across both Forces and undertake all assignments in a timely manner. Due to the requirement to work flexibly, unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working; public transport may not be available or suitable at these times.
