Role Summary


The IT Infrastructure Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the company's technology infrastructure for the UK and European countries, ensuring the effective operation of all hardware, software, servers, storage, databases, networks, and security systems, maintaining and constantly improving the technologies and systems to support organizational operations and meet the needs of the organization to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. This role requires close collaboration with the global IT team and adherence to headquarters' directives.

This position is based in the UK and reporting to the Senior Manager, IT at Headquarters. This role requires occasional travels across all the European countries and the Headquarters.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead team to manage day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure, network, server, systems, IT services, etc. to ensure business continuity and support business growth.
  • Develop and implement infrastructure strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with global standards to optimize IT infrastructure and operations.
  • Ensure the security, efficiency, and scalability of IT infrastructure and operation to support the UK and European countries operations.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending new technologies and vendors as appropriate, manage IT infrastructure projects for the UK and European countries to improve and maintain technology standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments and international offices to align IT infrastructure with business objectives.
  • Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and report findings to headquarters.
  • Provide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations.
  • Work closely with the IT security team at headquarters to prevent system breaches and ensure compliance with global security policies.
  • Manage and report on the allocation of IT budget in coordination with headquarters' financial planning.
  • Oversee the management of IT assets and inventory.
  • Managing vendor relationships and contracts related to IT Infrastructure and operations.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor IT infrastructure staff and/or vendors for the UK and European countries, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network, server, systems, IT services.
  • Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Manager, with a track record of managing IT operations for the UK and European countries.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure at an enterprise level.
  • Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation.
  • Technically solid in all-round IT Infrastructure, cloud, network, server, storage, service management aspects.
  • Experience with systems security, cloud services, data center management, and compliance with the IT standards with solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations for the UK and European countries.
  • Certifications in ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft, or similar credentials
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and stakeholders for the UK and European countries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with proficiency in English.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, energetic, self-driven and with strong sense of ownership.
