Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced, skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of 18 lorries, including Hook and Skip loading vehicles, artic units and trailers. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles meet DVSA standards- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions- Prepare vehicles for MOT- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performedThe ideal candidate will hold the relevant qualifications and have proven experience as a mechanic.Working schedule is mainly Day shift Monday/Friday with possible back shifts and occassional weekend work. Hours outwith the basic Monday to Friday dayshift will be paid at an overtime rate of time and a half.Job Type: Full-timePay: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Company pension* On-site parkingLicence/Certification:* Driving Licence (required)Work Location: In person
