Description

  • Daily Sales reporting.
  • Updating cashflows daily.
  • Completing necessary drawdowns and transfers of funds to cover payments.
  • Updating the cashbook and posting adhoc payments and receipts.
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts daily and investigating errors.
  • Assisting with monthly management accounts including posting accruals and prepayments.
  • Assisting in preparation of management pack.
  • Participate in Audits.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Actively studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
  • Good knowledge of accounting software
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
