We are pleased to be working with our client seeking a Facilities Assistant based in Northampton for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is a well-established Solicitor located across Northampton, Milton Keynes, Cambridge and more.
Responsibilities of the Facilities Assistant
- Look after the Northampton offices/site supporting the Facilities and Health & Safety Manager.
- Take part in health and safety checks and inspections including fire safety checks.
- Purchase inventory stock and office furniture.
- Meet regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Look after and maintain indoor plants as well as general garden maintenance.
- Set up meeting rooms/seminars.
- Cover reception duties.
Requirements for a successful Facilities Assistant
- Experience within a similar role previously.
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to organise and manage workload priorities.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail.
