Job Title: Technical Building Manager Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Full Time, 52 weeks per year Reports to: Estates Manager About the Role We re looking for an experienced and highly skilled Technical Building Manager to oversee the school’s advanced mechanical, electrical, and building management systems. This pivotal role combines technical expertise, strategic oversight, and team leadership to ensure the smooth operation of a complex and innovative school environment. The postholder will be the go-to expert for all technical matters, responsible for maintaining high standards, driving operational improvements, and implementing energy-efficient solutions. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge building technology and have a direct impact on the school’s operational success. Key Responsibilities System Operations & Maintenance Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of critical building systems, including HVAC, lighting, AHUs, CHP, GSHP, BMS, and emergency power systems. Develop and implement preventative and reactive maintenance strategies to ensure reliability and safety. Monitor system performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to optimize energy use.
