Expleo Engineering are seeking two Environmental Specialist’s on behalf of our client to oversee all environmental activities companywide, ensuring regulatory compliance is upheld whilst sustaining and improving standards. These permanent roles will be based at our client’s sites in Warwickshire.


Responsibilities of the Environmental Specialist include:

  • Ensuring environmental regulatory compliance across all sites.
  • Maintaining and improving conformance ISO14001 and implement IS0 50001 companywide.
  • Leading environmental projects for energy, water and waste reduction to achieve Racing Green targets and objectives.
  • Developing and implementing environmental initiatives companywide to drive environmental awareness.
  • Supporting the Environmental Manager with setting out future environmental strategies and road maps.
  • Supporting the planning, control, and management of the Environmental annual budget.


Background, skills and experience required for the Environmental Specialist role:

  • Degree level educated within a related Environmentally focused discipline or equivalent qualification.
  • Experienced in managing compliance with Environmental legislation, permits and consents.
  • Experienced with ISO14001 and ISO50001 at Manufacturing sites.
  • ISO 14001 lead auditor qualified.
  • Experienced in energy, water, and waste management.
  • Good understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and facilities.
