Role: Conveyancing Assistant (Mat Cover with potential to extend to permanent)

ALH Recruitment are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to step into an exciting opportunity with a leading client of ours.

Main Purpose:

To assist in the smooth running of the Conveyancing Department by providing administrative and legal support.

Main Duties include:

  • Opening new files and inputting instructions into the Case Management system
  • Updating the Case Management system as the matter progresses
  • Assisting in issuing contracts and managing replies to enquiries
  • Handling exchanges and related paperwork
  • Facilitating completions
  • Issuing mortgage reports
  • Engaging in various administrative tasks including filing, billing, faxing, photocopying and archiving

Successful Candidates will have:

  • At least 12 months’ experience within conveyancing and have a strong desire to pursue this in your next position.
  • Proficient IT skills, strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Effective customer-friendly communication
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Prior experience in a similar role

Working hours:

  • Full time or Part time (minimum of 3 days to include a Wednesday)

Location:

  • Huntingdon
  • In Office (not hybrid)
