We're committed to helping every person we support feel safe, happy, empowered enabling them to live the best life possible.What you'll be working:Your hours are based on a rota working every other weekend.Full time hours - 42 Hours a week. 1 x night shift. £30,813.38 per annum 20:00 to 08:15 worked as 36/48 or 42/42 (3x12 & 1x6) over 2 weeks- night shift 25 pence an hour uplift for night hours. Experience in care is required Role will be shared between both the House and The Lodge . What you'll be doing:Effectively lead the shift by ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained at all times. Shift/people management. Addressing staff issues such as timekeeping and attendance in a timely manner. Conducting regular supervisions for staff team Ensure that each service user has a key worker and that all aspects of the key worker role is implemented. Ensure that all service users have up-to-date risk assessments and person-centered plans in place and review and update as required with the service manager. Monitoring performance levels of staff team and identifying areas for improvement on an individual basis. Mentoring staff team to continuously develop their skills; Ensure service users receive support within the framework of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS). E nsure petty cash is managed within company guidelines. Ensure medication is administered in accordance with procedures. Deliver on-the-job training and guidance. O versee the preparation of medical/neurology appointments and letters. Cover all aspects of the support health care assistant role as and when required to work on the floors in order to meet the needs of the service. Act as a representative of Active Care Group at all times when liaising with external stakeholders including medical professionals, care managers, families, advocates, therapists, prospective service users etc. Support referrals activities by attending service user assessments and host service visits. Attend and prepare service users reviews. Observe and operate at all times in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures. To be part of the on-call team. Responsible for attending and completing all mandatory training. To undertake any other duties appropriate and as reasonably required to meet the changing needs of the service and ensuring that service user needs and business objectives are met. What you'll have:Flexible, professional, and positive approach to multi-site working. Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping. Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual. Self-confidence and ability to manage challenging situations NVQ 3 in Health and social care. Experienced care worker.
