Fitter - Double DaysA recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Engineeringdepartment with the appointment of a Fitter.Working from their manufacturing facility in Shropshire,the Fitterwill be responsible for:Assemble and fit mechanical parts and machined components, following engineering drawings and CAD detailAssemble and fit pneumatic and controls/sensor systems to assembly fixtures, robot grippers and automation based componentsInstall and integrate assembly fixtures, robot grippers and automation based componentsSupport installation of full assembly cellsduring commissioning phases and also at customer when requiredInstallation: Interpreting drawings and CAD data to support fitting of robots, guarding, fixtures, services cabinets and trunking. Including laying where applicable communications and pneumatic/electrical cablingSupport when required fitting activities including dis-assembly and re-assembly of pipework and steelsParticipate in training sessions and development programs as and when requiredAny other duties as reasonably requested.The successful candidate should have a minimum of an Apprenticeship or NVQ/City & Guilds and proven experience in a similar role.If yo...
