DescriptionHousing Development Officer - Acquisitions and DisposalsWaverley CourtSalary: 33287 - 39129Hours: 36 per week 52 weeksThe Housing & Homelessness Strategy team are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can assist the delivery of new projects and strategies to increase affordable housing to address homelessness and make living in the city more affordable to all.The post holder should have knowledge within the housing sector and be able to contribute to the development of innovative solutions to challenges. Supporting programmes and projects and an understanding of your contribution to effective teamwork.Knowledge skills and understanding:Excellent analytical and research skills and the ability to interpret and communicate complex policy legislation regulation and data. Ability to write think speak and present clearly and succinctly and to understand the importance of communication in long term planning.Negotiating skill and experience of securing the cooperation and contribution of partners and colleagues to the delivery of services.
