Role: HGV MechanicLocation: ThatchamHourly rate: £22.34 - £32.37About the role/ Company:Rhino is working with one of the biggest logistics companies in the UK who are looking to employ an experienced HGV Technician/ Mechanic.You need to be flexible with working hours as it’s mainly working at night but shift allowance and weekend rates will be included in your salary.Flexible working hoursIf you feel this role is for you then keep reading, as it comes with all different benefits, the working hours may suit you if you’re use to shift work.Main Duties/ Responsibilities:· You will be responsible for carrying out all breakdowns and reactive works to high standards and within the given timeframe· You should be able to accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical faults with the HGVs, communicate technical information to your teammates, and escalate any issues to relevant managers.· You should also possess a keen eye for detail and ensure that all work is accurately documented.Experience/ Qualifications· NVQ Level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance or equivalent and desirably hold your CPC.· Experience in a pervious role 3+ years· Great communication skills· Experience working in a fast-paced environmentAdditional informationTraining and funding can however be supported to achieve your HGV Class 1 license after a successful length of service.Job Type: Full-timePay: £22.34-£32.37 per hourBenefits:FlexitimeFree parkingSchedule:Night shiftExperience:HGV: 3 years (required)Licence/Certification:Driving Licence (preferred)
