Family Domestic Abuse Support AdvisorLocation: Covering Mid CornwallSalary: £24,956 (pro rata) per annum rising to £25,350 (pro rata) per annum after successful probationVacancy Type: Fixed term until 26th December 2026 with the potential for extension subject to future fundingThe RoleThe role is to provide specialist domestic abuse support alongside Social Work Family Assessment Teams (FAST) across Cornwall. The postholder will be based and integrated within a FAS social work Team and work collaboratively to provide assessment and service planning to the whole family who are affected by domestic abuse. The post holder will work with social work staff to offer insight and direct case work to families where the primary issues is domestic abuse In families who have been identified as having been affected by Domestic Abuse, the Family DASA will support the undertaking of social work assessments and support ongoing plans with families and social work staff. The teams will work together to support families to stay together safely, improve health and educational outcomes for the children and reduce physical and emotional harm in families impacted by domestic abuse.
