Job Title: C# Web Developer


Job Description: We are seeking a talented .NET Core C# Developer to join our team. As a C# Developer, you will be contributing to the development and maintenance of our main web applications using Razor pages, Blazor, C#, and other related technologies. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant web solutions.


Typical work includes working with: cashflow modelling, open banking, real-time valuations, secure document management, secure document signatures, report engines, account opening and enrichment, and AI integration.


We are looking for individuals who are seeking some purpose and adventure in their work, who can cope with a fast release cycle, and relishes feedback. The code has to be secure, performant, scalable and robust but the solutions have to be imaginative and serve the needs of our customers.


At least 2 years demonstrable commercial experience is required.


The position is 100% WFH. All equipment provided.


Core Technical Skills:


  1. C# Programming: Knowledge in C# programming language, including object-oriented programming principles and best practices.
  2. ASP.NET Core: Experience with ASP.NET Core for building robust and scalable back-end services and APIs.
  3. Web Technologies: Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to create responsive and visually appealing web interfaces.


Further Technical Skills:


  1. Blazor: Some experience in Blazor web framework, including Blazor Server and Blazor Web Assembly, to develop interactive web applications.
  2. Razor Pages: Familiarity with Razor Pages in ASP.NET Core for building server-rendered web pages.
  3. Entity Framework Core: Knowledge of Entity Framework Core for database access and ORM (Object-Relational Mapping).
  4. SQL Database: Proficiency in working with SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including database design, querying, and optimization.
  5. Web API Development: Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  6. Front-End Frameworks: Familiarity with front-end JavaScript frameworks/libraries like jQuery, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS.
  7. Version Control: Worked with Git and has experience using version control systems for collaborative development.
  8. Web Security: Awareness of web security best practices, including authentication and authorization mechanisms.
