Family Support Worker – Worcestershire Children First Location: Worcestershire Contract: Full-time Contact: (url removed) Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children, young people, and their families? Worcestershire Children First is seeking a committed and proactive Family Support Worker to support families where a Child in Need Plan is in place, as well as those on the edge of local authority care. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team focused on strengthening families, promoting positive change, and helping to ensure children can grow up safely within supportive home environments. Key Responsibilities As a Family Support Worker, you will: Provide direct support to children (including pre-school aged), their parents, and wider family members in line with assessments and agreed plans. Empower parents/carers to take responsibility for meeting their children's needs. Support parents in developing a clear understanding of child development and positive parenting. Work with families at risk of breakdown, helping to keep children safe through effective planning and intervention. Work collaboratively with Social Workers and multi-agency partners as part of the “team around the family”. Maintain accurate written records and prepare high-quality reports.
