This role offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from £14.50 to £20.50, depending on the candidate's experience and expertise.Responsibilities: As a School Caretaker, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the school premises. Key responsibilities include:Site Management: Oversee the general upkeep and maintenance of the school buildings and grounds.Security: Implement security procedures to safeguard the school premises, including monitoring access and responding to emergencies.Health and Safety: Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Maintenance: Carry out minor repairs and liaise with external contractors for more extensive maintenance needs.Events Support: Assist in setting up and organising events within the school premises.Requirements:Previous experience as a School Caretaker or in a similar role is preferred.Strong practical and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of health and safety regulations.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
