They manufacture precision engineered parts for aerospace customers (mainly precision fabrication and machining) and are looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join their growing team.Press Brake Operative Permanent positionCompetitive Salary + Great holiday allowance and other benefitsLate Shift – 3pn-1am on Monday, and 3pm-12:30am on Tuesday, Wednesday, and ThursdayDerby Press Brake OperativeJob SpecificationOperating Press Brake machineForming of sheet metal components in accordance with relevant proceduresRead engineering drawings to the level required for machine set up and operationSet up machines with the required settings and tooling in accordance with relevant proceduresMeasurement of components for conformityComplete Press brake operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions to achieve the required output levels Press Brake OperativeEssential Skills/Experience/QualificationsExperience operating Press Brake machinesHave worked with sheet metal no thicker than 5MM (and to tight tolerances)Able to read an engineering drawing/job cards Press Brake OperativeCompany Benefits4 Day WeekShift allowance per shiftStandard annual leave is 218.5 hours (inclusive of 8 stat bank holidays) for the first year of employment. This increases to 259.75 per holiday year after one year’s service3% pension contribution
