We are excited to offer the position of Internal Sales Assistant for our client based in Rugeley. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic team environment and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service. The Internal Sales Assistant will be responsible for managing customer relationships, processing orders, and assisting with sales campaigns, all while maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams.  Hours:Monday to FridayMonday – Wednesday 8.30am – 5.15pmThursday – 8.30am – 5.00pmFriday 8.30am – 12.30pm (3 out of 4 weeks)Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm (1 out of 4)Roles & responsibilties- Handling incoming calls to quote prices & lead times to customers and any other general enquiries- Build a level of technical product knowledge & work with Technical Sales Assistant when needed to support sales technique.- Processing customer orders via telephone and email.- Create customer orders in our ERP system and email confirmations.- Processing customer complaints and returns.- Maintaining customer database to ensure up to date and relevant information is held.- Maintain communication between Customer, Purchasing and Production Departments to ensure target delivery dates are achieved.- Making outgoing calls to inform customer of any delays.- Make pro-active sales calls to existing & new customers to promote our productsRequirements- Excellent attention to detail.- Team player- Self-motivated- Excellent interpersonal skills- Multitasking- Knowledge of MS Office suite- Excellent communication skillsIf you are eager to contribute to a fast-paced and customer-focused business, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing team. (phone number removed)
