Building Surveyor (Late-Stage APC – Full Support)Location: London Bridge / Salary: Up to £50,000 + APC support + benefitsAn independent building consultancy is looking for a Building Surveyor who is nearing the end of their APC and wants the right environment to finally get over the line to MRICS.If you’re feeling a bit stuck – behind on your diary, light on structured support, or not getting the variety of work you need – this role is designed to help you reset and push through to chartership.You’ll join a tight-knit consultancy team, working closely with experienced chartered surveyors on a varied mix of professional and project work, including dilapidations (landlord and tenant), contract administration and project management, building surveys (commercial and residential), schedules of condition, planned maintenance and defect analysis, and, depending on experience, party wall and neighbourly matters.From day one, your APC progress will be taken seriously, with a clear plan, hands-on support, and exposure to the competencies you need to sign off.You are likely a Building Surveyor or Assistant Building Surveyor with around 2–4 years’ consultancy experience and enrolled on the RICS APC with a good amount of diary time logged.You should be comfortable with core building surveying tasks such as surveys, reports and basic contract administration, and ready to take on more responsibility.You will be confident dealing with clients and contractors, able to communicate clearly in writing and in person, and organised, proactive and keen to learn.
