About the role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated BMS Engineer to join a well-established provider of building automation solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of BMS across a variety of projects. You will work closely with our project management teams to ensure that each system is fully optimized and that clients’ needs are met with the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, and commission BMS systems tailored to clients’ needs.
  • Integrate various systems such as HVAC, lighting, security, and energy management into the BMS framework.
  • Provide ongoing support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with BMS systems.
  • Regularly assess and optimize BMS systems to ensure energy efficiency and peak performance.
  • Engage with clients to assess their needs and provide technical guidance on BMS solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, system configurations, and technical reports.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical and electrical engineers, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • HND/bachelor’s degree in building services engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years’ experience working with BMS systems, preferably within a commercial, industrial, or residential setting.
  • Proficiency in BMS software platforms (e.g., Tridium, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Siemens).
  • Understanding of HVAC systems and how they integrate with BMS.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose complex BMS issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
