Inpatient Weekend Physiotherapist (Bank)Oxford Manor Hospital Physiotherapy Bank Contract - Ad hoc Competitive Hourly RateAre you an experienced Physiotherapist Do you want to work for a leading not-for-profit healthcare organisation with fantastic career progression opportunities Do you have a passion for the wellbeing of others and taking pride in supporting them through their road to recovery Our Physiotherapy team in Oxford currently have an opportunity for a Bank Weekend Physiotherapist.The Manor Hospital is one of the Flagship Nuffield Hospitals with 70 beds and 5 theatres which deliver excellent clinical care as well as benefiting the local communities using our state of the art facilities and working with our expert Consultants. The majority of operations are elective orthopaedics gynae breast cancer and some trauma cases.As part of the Physiotherapy team you will have clinical support available from Senior Physiotherapists along with leadership from the management team on site. A comprehensive induction would be carried out.As a Physiotherapist you will; Deliver excellent clinical care on the wards that is evidence based Safe Effective Caring Well-led and responsive to our patients needs. Ensure on-going monitoring of the standard of treatment provided Be compliant with all professional clinical and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processesTo succeed as a Physiotherapist you will; Have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent youll be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Experience in elective orthopaedics is essential. Demonstrate evidence of further professional training and continual professional development reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner. Be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals. Be a competent and confident IT user with strong organisation skills Have the ability to prioritise and deal with your varied workload in an effective and timely manner.Its equally important that you share our values.
