Job Description Were looking for an experiencedMechanical Pump Engineer (Field Based)to join a leading provider of industrial pump solutions in theSheffield area Youll primarily work on-site at wastewater and clean water sites, with occasional work in their workshop. Your role will involve installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of pump systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. Youll work alongside another engineer, covering sites across Yorkshire and Lancashire. This is aFull-Time, Permanentposition What youll be doing Install, assemble, and commission pump systems Carry out mechanical servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to optimise performance Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns at client sites Conduct routine pressure and flow tests and maintain accurate work records Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and site personnel to complete projects efficiently Operate and maintain a company vehicle stocked with tools and supplies Hours Monday to Friday (Day Shifts)39.5 hours per week Flexibility required (no weekends) Pay £38,500 per annum + overtimeOTE up to £50,000 Overtime paid at time Skills/Experience Required Essential Hands-on experience with industrial pumps, valves, and pipework Experience in the clean water or wastewater sectors NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification Valid UK driving licence Ability to diagnose faults, perform maintenance, and carry out installations Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred CSCS, First Aid, or Confined Space training Benefits Company pension Free on-site parking Additional leave and bereavement leave Access to training and career development opportunities Overtime opportunities Use of company vehicle and tools Mobile phone provided 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) All expenses covered Door-to-door pay Day shiftsno weekends Essential All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).
