As a Procurement Manager within our Global Procurement (GP) R&D Clinical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring Roche continues "doing now what patients need next" by managing the supplier ecosystem for clinical trials across.This is a high-impact opportunity for a strategic sourcing professional to drive execute strategies and contribute specialized knowledge to our evolving, agile procurement organization.The Opportunity As a Procurement Manager, you will be a vital link between business needs and effective procurement execution within a dynamic, global environment. You will wear multiple hats:Sourcing Specialist: Conduct market analysis, develop tactical sourcing plans, and lead negotiations for third-party goods and services essential for clinical trialsProcurement Practitioner: Execute sourcing strategies, leverage spend, negotiate contracts, and manage suppliers across the clinical development value chain to meet key objectivesContent & Automation Advocate: Translate sourcing strategies into effective, automated buying channels (content and systems) to improve business adoption and operational efficiencyBusiness Partner: Collaborate with internal business and procurement teams to translate clinical development demands into actionable spend management and sourcing projectsYou will be focused on continuous improvement, enhancing the customer buying experience, and providing capacity and expertise to critical projects.Who you are We are looking for an action-oriented, enterprise thinker with core procurement skills and a background in the clinical domain.Essential Capabilities & ExperienceEducation: University degree (Business degree preferred)Experience: proficient level of professional experience in sourcing, simple contracting, or operational efficiency projectsClinical Knowledge: Knowledgeable in the Clinical Development and/or Clinical Technologies area (e.g., Clinical Research Organizations (CROs), Imaging, eCOA, etc.)Negotiation: Proven capability in negotiating project budgets and contractsSystems Proficiency: Knowledgeable in procurement systems and operational processes (Contracting, eSourcing, Spot Buying)Project Management: Demonstrated project management skillsLanguage: Business level fluency in EnglishMindset and BehaviorsEnterprise Thinker: Proactively foster collaboration across the entire procurement network to create solutionsAction-Oriented: Focused on execution and repurposing existing work in favor of starting from scratchContinuous Learner: Demonstrate curiosity, actively listen, and be willing to experiment and test new ideasIMPORTANT: When you apply as an internal Roche candidate, you can use your Workday profile or upload a resume/CV in English.When you apply as an external candidate from outside of Roche, please upload a resume/CV in English and a cover letter (if relevant) in one step.Who we areA healthier future drives us to innovate.
