Join our active Environmental Quality Team, where your work will include direct improvement of private water supplies and local air quality.We’re looking for an Environmental Control Officer to fill a vacancy to focus on improvements in environmental protection as well as dealing with commercial nuisances.Main Duties And ResponsibilitiesCarrying out private water supply sampling, risk assessments, advice and enforcement and associated administration, liaison with property owners and laboratories;Carrying out monthly deployment and collection of air quality monitoring diffusion tubes, data management and related administration and support the lead AQ officer.Investigating complaints regarding commercial nuisance; What We’re Looking ForA customer-focused professional with strong interpersonal skillsA working knowledge of the environmental protection and private water supply legislationConfidence using ICT tools including Microsoft Office, Teams, and case management systemsRoom to GrowIf your background doesn’t tick every box but you bring enthusiasm, transferable technical and scientific skills, and a commitment to learning—we’d love to hear from you.
