Production Engineer

PRODUCTION ENGINEEROur client, based in Windsor, is a leading Contract Electronics Manufacturer. They are looking to employ, on a full time permanent basis, a Production Engineer experienced with SMT Machines, PCB Assembly and production machine programming.The role is within the production environment producing PCB assemblies, therefore the ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in supporting a PCB assembly facility.Production Engineer – Offer * £36k to £39k depending on experience, plus key staff bonus * Hours are Mon-Thurs 08:00 to 16:30 and Fri 08:00 to 13:00, a 37-hour week * Holidays - 5 weeks plus Bank Holidays * Auto enrolment Pension * Free on-site parkingProduction Engineer – Responsibilities * Converting customer supplied data into programs for production machinery * Respond to breakdowns * Strong problem solving skills * Ability to produce high quality work instructionsProduction Engineer – Requirements / Skills * Competency with Computer Aided Manufacturing packages for PCB assembly (e.g.; Circuit CAM, Factory Logics, Fuji CAM) * Experience working with SMT machines (Siemens ideally) * Proven track record of using customer supplied Gerber, BOM and CAD data to generate production machine programs is essential * Experience of stencil design and ordering * Knowledge of oven profiles and screen-printing processIf this role sounds like you, please follow the prompts to apply or contact either Gary on (phone number removed) or Russel on (phone number removed) at GHA Recruitment
