Management Accountant

Location: Woking (hybrid, 3 days per week)Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annumContract: 6 month duration, either FTC or day rate Are you a proactive and commercially minded Management Accountant looking for your next challenge? This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a visible role where your ideas will shape processes, influence decision-making, and support the continued success of an ambitious organisation.You will work closely with the Head of Finance and a supportive finance team, taking responsibility for managing their month end processes, accurate financial reporting, and continuous process improvement. What you'll be doing:Preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow reportingBusiness partnering with non-finance colleagues, providing meaningful insights and financial guidanceOwnership of financial reporting for several entities, building strong stakeholder relationshipsLeading improvements in processes, controls and systemsSupporting annual budgets, forecasting and year-end auditReviewing stock audits, managing intercompany reconciliations and preparing VAT returnsOverseeing settlements, payments, payroll authorisation and cash managementDevelopment and support of Assistant Management Accountants and Finance Admin Assistants What we're looking forQualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 2 years' management accounting experienceAdvanced Excel and strong systems capability (experience Microsoft Business Central would be very advantageous)Excellent communicator with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindsetCalm and confident working in a fast-paced environment with shifting prioritiesRobert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
