Policy by Murray are delighted to be working with The British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI), who are looking for a Technical Manager (Policy and Research) who will take the lead in delivering impactful research, providing technical support to members, and shaping policy for their dynamic industry.

About the Role:

This is your chance to make a tangible impact on the landscape sector. As their Technical Manager focusing on Policy and Research you'll oversee critical research projects, support BALI's membership with expert technical advice, and help craft policies that address the evolving needs of the industry. You'll play a key role in ensuring our work is grounded in the latest industry knowledge, trends, and legislation-empowering members to stay ahead of the curve.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide valuable technical support to BALI's membership, marketing, and learning teams.
  • Drive the development of policy and research strategies aligned with BALI's long-term goals.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key industry stakeholders to stay on top of emerging issues.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring industry trends, legislation, and best practices.

About You:

We're looking for someone who's driven by more than just technical knowledge - you're passionate about turning research into real-world impact. With a strong understanding of the landscape sector, you'll be able to anticipate challenges and provide clear, actionable solutions.

You'll be a master of communication, effortlessly translating complex technical details into insights that our members can act on. Whether you're leading a project or presenting your findings, your collaborative approach and relationship-building skills will make you a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, internal teams, and the broader industry.

If you're a forward-thinking policy and research expert who loves tackling complex issues, this is the perfect opportunity for you to take your career to the next level.
