Projects include 278 works, residential groundworks, footpaths, roads, sewers and earthworks.Responsibilities:You'll be using your excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to build relationships and manage suppliers, negotiating prices, and placing orders. Including:* Managing the day-to-day project procurement of materials.* Liaising with the on-site teams to source the most cost-effective materials, of the highest quality.* Monitoring the performance, quality, prices and development of suppliers.* Identify new potential suppliers and products.* Prepare quotations and proposals.* Attend team meetings and site visits.* Prepare and maintain cost reports to maximise efficiency.Requirements:* Proven buying experience, with a focus on groundworks, civil engineering, infrastructure projects* Strong negotiation skills and a track record of successfully lead complex negotiations with multiple stakeholders.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersPlease contact John Ashcroft on for more information (phone number removed)
