Join Our Team:

We are currently seeking skilled Field Service Engineers who are passionate about delivering high-quality service in the cleaning industry. This role is based in Livingston, West Lothian, with most work carried out on customer sites throughout Scotland.


Role Overview:

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in servicing and repairing various types of cleaning equipment, ensuring our high standards of customer service and equipment reliability are upheld. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.


Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, both mechanical and electrical

- Conduct maintenance and repairs on a wide range of cleaning equipment

- Carry out regular inspections/preventative maintenance at regular intervals

- Train customers on the proper and safe use of equipment and the daily/weekly maintenance requirements of equipment

- Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring all equipment functions optimally

- Document all service activities including repairs, replacements, and upgrades and advise any further action required, where appropriate


Qualifications/Skills:

- Experience in servicing and repairing cleaning equipment is essential

- Persons with experience in mechanical repairs and/or electrical/plumbing repairs may already have transferrable skills suitable for this role

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly on your feet

- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members

- Flexibility to travel to customer sites as needed

- A full UK driving licence is essential, with experience in towing light trailers beneficial
