We are currently recruiting for a General Manager at our Vertu Honda Grantham dealership and offering a competitive basic salary with an OTE of up to £90,000 and a company car.
As one of the largest Motor Retailers in the UK, Vertu Motors’ continued success is based on strong performance, growth, and leadership; this is especially true in our Honda, Kia, Toyota, and Motorcycles Division. Our Mission Statement "To deliver an outstanding customer motoring experience through honesty and trust" is central to the role of any General Manager in our business, ensuring our customers receive the right experience for them.
Our Vertu Honda Grantham dealership is one of our 17 Honda car and 3 Honda Motorcycles businesses we operate in the UK. It has great potential for the right candidate, who, if successful, will join the largest Honda retailer in Europe.
We are looking for a leader who is driven to deliver performance through all departments while delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction. The successful applicant will demonstrate that they are value and goal-driven and have the ambition to work with Honda, being passionate about this iconic brand.
You will be accountable for all aspects of the business, fostering manufacturer relationships, ensuring operational excellence while driving finance and cost control, and managing people effectively. Strong leadership skills are essential as your primary focus will be to motivate and inspire your team to be the best that they can be. You will also ensure that policies, processes, and legislation are adhered to, prioritizing customer and colleague health and safety.
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a General Manager within the sector, achieving excellence by delivering financial, customer-centric, and employee satisfaction results.
If your application is successful, we will need you to complete employment checks prior to starting with us. These can include verifying your recent employment, address, and credit history. We may also conduct a criminal record and driving licence check.
