Design Engineer Location: Leighton Buzzard Salary: £32,000 – £40,000 + Benefits A growing manufacturing business is seeking a Design Engineer to join their specialist design team, supporting the development of bespoke bathroom and wetroom solutions for a wide range of projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on custom-designed products from concept through to manufacture, installation, and completion. Design Engineer Working closely with internal teams including sales, production, and installation, you will play a key role in producing accurate technical drawings and 3D models that bring unique customer requirements to life. The Role As Design Engineer, you will: * Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks * Develop and modify layouts for bathroom and wetroom systems * Prepare technical documentation, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials * Support design reviews and implement changes as required * Ensure designs meet relevant building regulations and standards * Collaborate with manufacturing and installation teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy About You We’re looking for someone with: * Experience in a design role within construction, plumbing, fabrication, or similar * Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (or similar CAD platforms) * Understanding of plumbing layouts and waterproofing principles * Strong att...
