Investor - Senior Associate

Join a venture capital fund focused on investing in high-growth, innovative startups across the technology spectrum. Role Summary:

We are seeking a talented Senior Associate to join the investment team. This individual will play a pivotal role in sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, supporting portfolio companies, and contributing to the overall investment strategy. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Deal Sourcing: Identify and assess potential investment opportunities, build relationships with founders, and actively participate in industry networking.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct detailed market research, financial analysis, and competitive assessments to support investment decisions.
  • Investment Strategy: Collaborate with partners to develop and refine the fund’s investment thesis and identify trends and emerging sectors.
  • Portfolio Support: Work closely with portfolio companies, providing strategic and operational support, and connecting them with resources to drive growth.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, investment opportunities, and market dynamics to inform our investment approach.
  • Fundraising & Investor Relations: Assist in preparing materials for investor relations and fundraising activities, and participate in managing key stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in venture capital in addition to 2-4 years in investment banking, strategy consulting or startups.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to conduct rigorous due diligence.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the startup ecosystem, technology, and emerging market trends.
  • Relationship Building: Proven track record of building relationships with founders, investors, and other industry professionals.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
