Nursery Chef - Ringwood - up to £27,352 - Monday to Friday

An award - winning childcare provider is seeking a Nursery Cook to work at their site close to Ringwood in the New Forest.

You will work Monday to Friday either 8am-5pm or 830am-530pm with a 1 hour lunch break so total of 40 hours.

Salary: £27,352

Hours: 40 Hours, Straight Shifts, Monday -Friday

Location: Close to Ringwood, only a 3 mile drive, cycle or a 45 minute walk away from central Ringwood.

Responsibilities:

To manage all aspects of the nursery kitchen to the highest standards, in line with legislation requirements.

To plan, organize, cook, and prepare a healthy balanced diet for all the children.

To ensure that all food hygiene procedures and kitchen duties follow the environmental health - safer food better business guidelines.

Engaging with the children for cooking and food activities.

Requirements:

Catering experience

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2

Knowledge and experience of food preparation for special dietary needs and allergies

Knowledge of health and safety issues

Capable of working under pressure in an organized way
