The Role

A highly regarded firm is looking for a motivated Audit Supervisor to join its thriving audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Audit Senior to take the next step or for an established professional to bring their expertise to a growing and supportive team.


Key Responsibilities

The Audit Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Managing Audit Engagements: Overseeing audits from planning to finalisation, including risk assessments, materiality determination, and fieldwork execution.
  • Supervising Junior Staff: Delegating tasks, reviewing work, and providing guidance to aid the professional development of team members.
  • Building Client Relationships: Acting as a key client contact, ensuring clear communication and delivery of high-quality service.
  • Handling Complex Audit Areas: Managing technically challenging sections such as stock, creditors, investments, and provisions.
  • Finalisation and Reporting: Reviewing files, proposing adjustments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Coordinating with other departments, such as tax, to provide seamless client service.
  • Process Improvement: Contributing to the enhancement of audit processes and best practices.


Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will bring:

  • Qualifications: ACCA/ACA qualified, with up to 2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience with large, complex consolidations; IFRS accounts knowledge is ideal.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to supervise and mentor junior staff.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with audit software, particularly Caseware, is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous and thorough approach to work.
  • Proactivity: A self-motivated individual with a drive to improve processes and deliver excellence.
