Business Development Manager - Civils QS
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager with a background in Civil Quantity Surveying (QS) to drive growth and expand our client base. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in civil projects to identify opportunities, prepare accurate cost estimates, and manage client relationships for our security perimeter fencing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth in the civil and infrastructure sectors.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities with contractors, developers, and public sector clients.
- Prepare cost estimates, project budgets, and client quotations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in business development within the construction or civils industry.
- Background in quantity surveying, with strong knowledge of costing and tendering processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
