Senior Credit Manager

We are seeking a Senior Credit Underwriter specializing in Real Estate and Development Finance to join our team in this critical role you will be responsible for evaluating and analysing complex real estate and development finance transactions assessing credit risk and making informed lending decisions.Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of real estate and development projects to determine creditworthiness and risk levelsEvaluate loan applications financial models valuations monitoring surveyor reports and other relevant documentation to assess borrowers ability to repayPerform detailed property and market analysis to determine asset values and potential risksStructure loan terms and conditions based on risk assessment and organizational guidelinesCollaborate with internal teams including relationship managers and legal counsel to ensure thorough due diligenceOperate a delegated lending authority opining on credit proposals for final decisionPrepare and present concise credit recommendations to senior management and credit committeesMonitor existing loan portfolios and conduct periodic reviews to identify potential issuesStay current with market trends regulatory changes and best practices in real estate finance and credit underwritingQualifications : Bachelors degree in Finance Economics or a related field; MBA or relevant masters degree preferredExperience in credit underwriting with a focus on real estate and development financeAdvanced skills in financial analysis risk assessment and credit modellingProficiency in real estate valuation techniques and loan structuringIn-depth knowledge of real estate markets and development financeStrong understanding of regulatory requirements in lending and real estate financeExcellent analytical and decision-making skills with keen attention to detailExperience with commercial real estate loans and development projectsProfessional certifications such as CFA or FRM are a plusExceptional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlinesAdditional Information : Your Wellbeing - We take your health and well-being very seriously by providing a range of benefits to give you and your family peace of mind.
