Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a local authority, based in Greater Manchester, who are seeking a Principal Lawyer to join their Physical Infrastructure and Regeneration team on a contract basis. The Role of the Principal Lawyer - Physical Infrastructure/Regeneration
- To manage a varied caseload of Planning Law matters in relation to planning, highways and regulatory clients and elected members
- Matters will be predominantly in relation to complex section 106 agreements, s38/278 agreements and s111 agreements
- Provide Strategic planning enforcement advice
- Instructing Counsel including Leading Counsel
The Person
- A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with experience of Planning Law matters
- PQE is flexible (3+ years and above) and the rate of pay will be reflective of this
- Ability to attend the office once a week
