Construction Planner - DevonA regional contractor who has a multitude of schemes across the region is looking to appoint an aspiring or experienced planner to join their expanding team for a range of exciting and prestigious schemes. Works include Healthcare, Local Authority, Education and Leisure. As the planner, you will be responsible for the planning function on medium, large or complex tenders and sites involving detailed analysis of large volumes of information ensuring that the optimum sequence to deliver the project is reflected in the programme. Responsibilities:Produce fully linked Project Programme for Site, Tender or Pre-qualification purposes to identify critical path, float, risk and opportunityEnsuring full consideration is given to all restrictions including client and third party approvals and is produced with pre-construction, design and procurement programmes as requiredCollaborate with other company staff to ensure that works are planned and organisedCompile prelim books for adjudicationEnsure client reporting requirements are always metIndependently assess progress against programmes and report findingsDevelop the Programme and supporting documents in line with the form of ContractPrepare cause and effect programmes and narrative to assess impact on the ProgrammeWork with the commercial team to ensure effective management of Total CostsUnderstand business need for positive cash flow and plan works accordinglyEnsure that the site Health Safety and Environmental Plans are in line with HSE legislation and review their potential impact upon work sequencingFor this position, you must have experience using Asta Powerproject, have a relevant driving licence.
