Our Client based in Boldon Colliery are recruiting for an Electrical CAD Engineer to be based within their engineering team.Package:Full Time - Permanent Salary - £28k Depending on experience Hours of Work - Monday - Thursday 08:30am - 5pm Friday 08:30am - 1.30pmRole/Responsibility:You will be responsible for Producing 2D electrical schematics and interconnection drawings for LV Distribution and Control.Interpret customer requirements and technical specifications and responsibility for the following:* Solidworks / AutoCad operator focusing on electrical requirements of the Engineering Dept.* Knowledge / experience of electrical control panel design for industrial equipment.* Read, understand and produce LV Electrical front of panel layout drawings, LV electrical control schematics and interconnection diagrams derived from customer, and internal, specifications.Skills/Qualifications:* Ability to discuss drawings and technical details* Experience of using AutoCad is essential* Experience of using Solidworks is desirable * Electrical / control knowledge is essential* Knowledge of production engineering practice* ONC or Equivalent qualification requiredKinetic plc is a Recruitment Consultancy with over 40 years' experience delivering staffing solutions to the engineering, manufacturing and technical industries.Kinetic plc treats all applications confidentially and we review all submissions.Those that do not meet the specification may not be contacted but their CV retained to be considered against future opportunities.S&T1
